Thank you to the local community for continuing to tell us what matters to you. You’ve repeatedly highlighted concerns around the unlawful and anti‑social use of off road motorbikes and e‑bikes and scooters in Kemsley—and we’ve listened.
During a recent My Community Voice sign‑up event, officers were supported by our brilliant Kent Police Cadets. While the focus of the event was community engagement, it also provided an opportunity to act directly on your concerns.
Whilst assisting with this engagement, the Cadets helped me safely stop a youth riding an adapted electric bike being used unlawfully on the public highway. Thanks to the teamwork on scene, the bike was seized, demonstrating clear action in response to the issues raised by residents.
This result shows:
